WHAT MAKES ACCELERATED PHYSIO AND CYCLEBARRE DIFFERENT?

We are not your typical rehab clinic or fitness club. Accelerated Phyiso and CycleBarre is where "rehabilitation meets fitness". Our goal is not only to treat injuries, but prevent them from occurring. Our equipment is designed to be gentle on your joints, but also provides you with a great workout. 

Fitness and technology come together at our facility. The 2 exercise studio's have state of the art equipment with fun lighting and great music. 

Our indoor cycle studio has stadium seating, surround sound and a unique sensory experience combining lighting and scents. 

Classes are small at Accelerated Physio and CycleBarre, allowing the instructor to keep a close eye on participants form.


IS INDOOR CYCLE ONLY FOR FIT PEOPLE?

Our classes are for everyone, no judgment, regardless of shape, size or fitness level. We all sweat the same way!


WHAT IS BARRE?

Barre is a workout that is taking the fitness industry by storm. We believe that everyone is capable of participating in a Barre class, no dance experienced required. As long as you can hold a ballet barre, you can do a class. This workout challenges stability, balance and muscular endurance while promoting good posture.

 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO  BARRE CLASS?

You should wear comfortable exercise wear and STICKY SOCKS, to retain your bodies heat and prevent you from sliding. You will want to remove your shoes and put on your socks before you walk through the studio.

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We’ll have all the equipment you will need in the studio, so bring a bottle of water (we have some for sale too!) and a positive attitude! No cycle shoes, no problem, we offer complimentary cycle shoes. Remember to bring socks! If you forget, we have sticky socks for sale.

 

CAN MEN TAKE CLASS?

Yes.  All workouts are for everybody. Our facility has men's and women's locker rooms with showers and high end amenities. 

 

WHAT IF I AM NOT A TEENY BALLERINA?

Neither are we! We strive to make the studio a place where everyone can feel comfortable. It is low impact, meaning you will get a great workout without putting excessive stress on your joints. If jumping and running , causes you pain or stress to your joints, then our classes may be a fitness solution.

WHAT IS PILATES?
Accelerated Physio and CycleBarre offers Pilates Mat (with small equipment such as circles and balls) and Pilates Equipment (Reformer, Tower, Arc, Jump board/tramp and Disc). It is a "system of exercise using special apparatus , designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture and enhance mental awareness." We also offer Pilates circuit that uses the Reformer machine, Tower and a verity of other small equipment. Remember for safety reasons to wear sticky socks.

WHAT IS THE FITWALL?
We are the only facility in Sudbury to have this unique piece of equipment. exercises are performed on a vertical steel surface, supported by your own body weight. It does not discriminate; its science based protocols can be tailored for all ages and fitness levels. By putting the body in an unstable state, the fitwall allows you to burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time. It is low impact, decompresses many joints in the body and effectively allows an individual to workout without adding the ill effects of joint compression. Train Smarter. Not Longer.
